چکیده

Although the mobility or transport parameters, such as lift drag and pitching moments for regular-shaped particulates, are widely studied, of irregular fractal-like aggregates generated by aggregation monomers is not well understood. These particulates which ubiquitous in nature, industries have very different mechanisms compared to their spherical counterpart. A high-fidelity direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) study two fractal shapes dimensions undertaken slip transitional gas regime understand underlying mechanism gas-particle momentum transfer that manifests orientation-averaged parameters particulates. Aggregate Human Mobility Modeling Using Principal Component Analysis

Accurate modeling of aggregate human mobility benefits many aspects of cellular mobile networks. Compared with traditional approaches, the cellular networks provide information for aggregate human mobility in urban space with large spatial extent and continuous temporal coverage, due to the high penetration of cell phones. In this paper, a model by utilizing Principal Component Analysis (PCA) i...

Molecular dynamics simulation of fractal aggregate diffusion.

The diffusion of fractal aggregates constructed with the method by Thouy and Jullien [J. Phys. A 27, 2953 (1994)] comprised of N(p) spherical primary particles was studied as a function of the aggregate mass and fractal dimension using molecular dynamics simulations. It is shown that finite-size effects have a strong impact on the apparent value of the diffusion coefficient (D), but these can b...

Determination of Agricultural Sulfur Effects on the Soil Structure Using Fractal Geometery and Aggregate Stability Indices

Due to unsuitable soil physical conditions, calcareous soils, and the existence of a huge amount of sulfur in the country, the study of sulfur effects on the soil structure and other soil properties is necessary. Therefore, the effects of different rates of sulfur including: 0, 750, 1500 and 3000 kg/ha, when accompanied by Halothiobacillus neapolitanus bacteria, on the soil properties in the co...

Modeling and Simulations of Multicellular Aggregate Self-assembly in Biofabrication Using Kinetic Monte Carlo Methods

We employ a three-dimensional (3D) lattice model based on the kinetic Monte Carlo (KMC) method to study cell self-assembly and cellular aggregate fusion of multicellular aggregate systems. This model is developed to describe and predict time evolution of postprinting morphological structure formation during morphogenesis of tissues or organs in a novel biofabrication process known as bioprintin...
